To make these roses first you have to cut strips of wide satin ribbons in three different shades in such a way that the lightest shade will have 8 cm long strips, the medium shade will have 7 cm long strips and the darkest will have 6 cm long strips. Then take a strip of the darkest ribbon and turn its one end as shown. Turn the folded end once again as shown. Do this to the other end too. Make more folded petals in the same way. Now to make the center fold this petal in half and sew more petals around it to form a swirled center. Then make more petals by folding the medium and lightest shade strips as well and sew these petals together in a row as shown. Pull the thread and you will get a cup like shape of petals ready. Sew it around the center of the rose and voila! Make more in the same way and put them in a glass bowl for display. Happy crafting!
