To make these mason jar votives first of all cut out the letters or words you want to put on the jars with a painters tape. Then paste them onto the mason jars just like in the photo four mason jars have XOXO pasted over them. After that invert the jars. And coat them with spray paint. As you can see a copper color spray paint is used here. Once the paint has dried completely peel away the tape stickers. Then throw in battery operated tealights or string lights and voila!
If you want you can also give the votives a little distressed look with a sandpaper. Happy decorating!
