Here I am again – talking about bathrooms – old-fashioned bathrooms, that remind us of the times where big copper bath tubs were set at the middle of the room with a big Persian carpet underneath and a pile of candles next to it, set for the kings and queens and other nobility to take a warm bath before bedtime.

New bathrooms are having exactly back-to-the roots look – they look like big round pots and they are set in the middle of the floor – even the bathroom sink looks the same as the tub. Bath tubes and sinks are no longer embedded, the elegant line of the tub is shown from all around it, that is why is middle-centered. And when you wash your hands, you have a filing that you do it in a little bowl, like your grandparents use to.

Bamboo elements are allowed in this kind of bathroom design – even more they are strongly recommended. Even a combination of black and maroon will look good – as long as the design is simple, there are not a lot of elements, and the floor tiles are plain and clear.
