Do you have a bunch of old things that are torn, broken, used and you just pile them in your basement or loft? Well, have you ever thought of using them again by making them look as new?
If you don’t have any ideas, here is a friend of mine from Italy that will help you. She adores recycling, reusing, using natural materials and everything that means responsible design and production.
You can make new decoration, new garden chairs, and new lights, without spending money unnecessarily for things that are not so important.
For example, the chairs with torn seats can be used again – you can make your own net of PVC, rope etc.
As for lighting, you can use diodes and a battery from an old cell phone – like on the picture bellow. If you don’t want to make your living room old-new, use your alternative designs for your yard, balcony, villa, etc.

Think about all the cans, old jars, plastic bottles and other one-use things – if you can’t recycle them at your local super market, then use them to make some decoration! Make some candle lights, some flower pots, some vases – imagination never ends! Have you seen a flower pot made from old boots? Or hanging flower pot made from old sweater?
