One table under the other, cotton table in form of a little stool chair – this is where it all started on the way from classic coffee tables to very unusual ones.

You can actually make a table of whatever you wish that stands on the floor – just put a wooden board, or glass upon it.
I wouldn’t go that much into extreme and suggest that your bicycle could be trestle for you coffee table, I would stick to the more “normal” designs…
You vase could be leveraging the glass, your stools, your old night lamp, etc… I would not say soo unusual and weird, I would say more as a cute.

Also, you can use curved design of a table, for practical reasons. It could keep some stuff underneath it, or, it can be stored easily when not used.
The very same thing counts for the side tables, even more – they could afford themselves to be even crazier! Those would be seen more as a decoration, design pieces, since they are smaller, and your interior will look more arty!
